i AGREE THIS SHOW WAS CANCELED DUE TO POLITICAL PRESSURE. WHAT A SHAME TOO. JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU HOW CORRUPT WASHINGTON IS AND ALL THOSE THAT ARE PART OF THE GOVERNMENT. ITS SAD THAT SO MUCH HAS TO BE COVERED UP OUT OF GREED AND DISHONESTY. TYPICAL OF MOST POLITICIANS I GUESS.

I love this show. It’s a pity that there’s only one season. Excellent performance by the gorgeous Geena Davis. I really admire Mac. I wanna be just like her when I grow up.

Here in Germany the show aired with the name: Welcome Mrs President. I really loved. What a pitty there had been only one season. As Joe Penny Fan and owner of a website of course I also know her Riptide guesstarring.

Yes that makes sense. It’s just I’m used to it when its like, Mackenzie Allen-Calloway. And when she took the oath, the judge said I Mackenzie Spencer Allen, then she repeats, I Mackenzie S. Allen… I guess I’m just used to a culture where its not often that it’s like that.

i’m gonna say that if she were already a well established lawyer when she and rod married, it might have been more beneficial for her to keep her last name. like most actors do when they marry. if you’re already well known by one name, it might not be a good idea to change it. make sense?

I am a huge commander in chief fan. Also big Geena Davis fan. I cried when the show got cancelled! Commander in Chief is and always will be my favourite show. A brilliant show with a brilliant actress.

I just have a question for geena’s character mac. Why is it that her last name is Allen instead of being Calloway like Rod? Just asking.. The question keeps popping to my mind so might as well just ask..

It probably was political. I don’t see any other reason. It had amazing ratings, everyone loved it. But it didn’t exactly make either party look too good. I guess they can’t understand FICTION
