“Commander in Chief” (10 p.m., WXYZ-TV, Channel 7, ABC). Series return. Impeached by lousy ratings, President Mackenzie Allen (Geena Davis) briefly returns to her prime time Oval Office for the star-crossed political drama’s final three original episodes. When Mac’s appendix bursts mid-flight on Air Force One, without the vice president in place, sneaky Speaker of the House Nathan Templeton (Donald Sutherland) becomes the acting president. And all that power goes straight to his conniving head. Big surprise.

We have a new member at the message board; Jasmin from TVbyGirls. Earlier this month, Jasmin and the other girls in her group were fortunate to attend the EPIC Award event – two of the girls were even presenting Geena with her award. Apologies for the delay in events updates – as mentioned several places on the site, we are not official and have to rely on news alerts and own research in finding information about Geena’s appearances. Today I learned that Geena took part in the kick-off of a project led by The White House Project; consisting of “training camps” for aspiring female future political leaders.

As mentioned earlier today, rumours were mentioning a possible two-hour film based on the Commander in Chief TV-series, and here is a little bit more information on this.

Sad – although perhaps not surprising – news today, as ABC released their fall schedule. No sign of “Commander in Chief,” leaving Geena as a one-year president. Rumours have it that a two-hour movie may be made with the same cast – a poor comfort for the hardcore fan.

I’ve been lucky to come across several sources for HQ pictures, and will be uploading/changing already uploaded pictures in the days to come.
